As of Thursday around 1500hrs, Hope Fire Company placed inservice a 1997 Spartan Saulsbury Heavy Rescue, it replaced the 1994 International Hackney Rescue.  The Saulsbury is equipped with a 200GPM Pump, 200 water tank, 20 gallon foam tank, 48kw generator, 2 Light Towers, 4 Pre-Connected Hurst Reels, 6 bottle 6000lb cascade with 3 bottle fill station, various hand tools and cribbing. 

Around 1800hrs it ran its first offically inservice call, The Philipsburg Fire Department was alerted for a Vehicle accident in the area of WPHB on the Port Matilda Highway.  5700 Arrived with a no injury accident.  Units provided traffic control and cleaned up debris.

On Wednesday at 1538hrs, The Philipsburg Fire Department was alerted to assist Morris Township on a Dwelling fire at 6560 Deer Creek Road, Graham Township.  Deputy 17 arrived on scene with a single family dwellling and advised he had a working fire.  Crews arrived and went to work with an aggressive interior attack and venting the structure.

Units Responding, Truck 57, Engine 57-1, Tanker 57, EMS 23, Engine-Tanker 17, Engine-Rescue 17, Engine 18, Engine-Tanker 18, Engine 15-2, Engine 22-1, Squad 23.

 

 

The Philipsburg Fire Department was alerted around 6am Sunday morining for a dwelling fire at 179 Beaver Lane, Osceola Mills, Tanker 57 responded with 2 and arrived with a working fire, Engine 57-1 and Truck 57 were dispatched as a 2nd alarm was dispatched.  Crews went to work with fire suppression and ventalation.  Units Responding, Clearfield Stations 22,23,25,26,17,18 Centre Stations, 13, 57, EMS 13.

 

 

The Philipsburg Fire Department was alerted on Tuesday for multiple medical assists.  Around 1145pm The fire department was alerted for a Dwelling Fire in Boggs Township at 17 Honeysuckle Lane, West Decatur. Chief 57 arrived with nothing showing from 2 sides, upon investigating the source was located to a dryer fire.  Crews from Engine 57-1 and Truck 57 arrived, the truck crew was directed to ventilate the residence, while the engine crew checked for extension.

The Philipsburg Fire Department along with Port Matilda Fire Company were dispatched for an accident with Entrappment in the area of 3400 block of Port Matilda Highway, Chief 1500 arrived on scene first with 2 vehicles 6 patients, with 1 entrapped.  Crews had an extended extrication.  Once the patient was extrciated they were transported to Altoona Regional via Stat Med-Evac.
